The make-up water softening modules comply with the requirements of VDI 2035 Bl.1 / ONORM H5195-1 standards and are designed to protect heat sources (in heating systems) and heating systems with a water coolant that do not contain aluminum components from the formation of calcium deposits. For systems containing aluminum components, versions for complete desalination are available. Fully equipped, the module is a water softening device filled with resin, providing a high rate of ion exchange, as well as an additional filter of 25 microns to remove small particles.
